So I prayed
I was a single mom living in the Bronx raising four children.
We had a beautiful home… but I knew something had to change.
I could see the direction life was going.
I saw the influences around my boys.
And deep in my spirit, I felt it — if I didn’t move, their future might not move either.
So I prayed.
My Prayer
Lord Jesus, Thank You for guiding me when I couldn’t see the full picture. Thank You for giving me the courage to move when fear tried to hold me back. You saw what I couldn’t see. You protected my children before I even understood what they needed. Help me to always trust Your voice over my comfort. Help me to choose faith over fear. Lead my family in the path You have prepared for us. I surrender my plans to You, knowing Yours are greater. Thank You for every step, every lesson, and every blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
One day, I truly believe the Holy Spirit spoke to me:
“It’s time to move.”
Move? I had never even driven more than 20 miles from my home. The Bronx was all I knew. I didn’t travel. I didn’t know anything outside of it.
So I went looking in a realtor took me to Bedford
And when I stepped into the house in Bedford, I knew.
This was the direction God wanted for my children.
That decision changed the course of our lives.
Sometimes obedience feels scary.
Sometimes faith requires you to leave what’s familiar.
But God sees what we can’t see.
Today, I’m humbled. I’m grateful. And I thank Jesus every single day 🙏
If you’re feeling that nudge in your spirit… trust it.
It might just change everything ❤️
