Woman of Empowerment

Marcie Manfredonia-Siciliano, a member of P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized), has been honored as a Woman of Empowerment for her achievements in construction maintenance, custom candles, and CBD products. She is the owner of Nationwide Maintenance, a woman-owned minority business (WBE/MBE) that has grown from an exterior cleaning company into a full-service maintenance and general contracting firm serving the tri-state area. Manfredonia began her entrepreneurial journey after losing both her father and mother to cancer, which motivated her to ensure her children would not face similar financial hardships. She started her business by selling all her belongings and committing to self-reliance.

In addition to her construction business, Manfredonia founded Custom Candle Co., a specialty gift shop offering eco-friendly, soy-based candles, which has been recognized as a Best of Westchester winner for three consecutive years. She also launched CBD Live Natural, a company providing organic CBD products. Her businesses have collectively raised over $40,000 for the American Cancer Society (ACS), supporting cancer research and patient services, driven by her personal loss of her mother to breast cancer. She is an official ACS board member and actively participates in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

Manfredonia was featured on Bravo’s “Below Deck Mediterranean” in 2023 alongside P.O.W.E.R.’s founder, Tonia DeCosimo, highlighting her journey as a woman breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. She continues to inspire others through her work, philanthropy, and advocacy, embodying the mission of P.O.W.E.R. to empower and mentor women across diverse professions.
