Day Forty - I Remembered Who I Am
I’m finally loving my life.
I love my family. I love my grandchildren. I love my businesses, and I love my employees. Today, I surround myself with good-hearted people who bring kindness, love, and good energy into my life.
And it feels wonderful.
For so long, I lived with negativity, criticism, and words meant to make me feel small. He told me I was nothing. He said I would break.
Guess what? I built my company three times bigger than it ever was.
I did it with honesty, integrity, hard work, and above all, faith.
But what means just as much to me is the peace I have now. Being able to enjoy my family, make my own decisions, and feel good about who I am. Being able to come home without that constant negativity.
Going through all of this opened my eyes to so much—what I had accepted, what I had forgotten about myself, and what I wanted the rest of my life to look like.
And boy, does God have ways of closing a door and opening a window.
You’ve just got to trust the process.
There is so much more to my story than I could fit into these forty days. But I hope that by sharing it, someone out there feels less alone and remembers that their life still has possibilities.
Today, I choose to be kind to the people I meet. To show love and respect. To protect my peace and appreciate this beautiful life I worked so hard to build.
I know who I am now. And I’m proud of her.
Forty days of telling my story. A lifetime still ahead to live.
From panic to power—and finally, to peace.
